Q. How do I get an Activation Code?

On completing the ACET installation process the system requires activation. Activation codes can be requested from ACET Support. For more information please view our Activation guidance notes.

Q. How do I get a User Account?

After installing and activating ACET, you will require a User Account in order to gain entry to the database. Please contact your company ACET database administrator and ask them to create your user account and login details.

Q. How can I book an ACET Training Course?

ACET Training can be provided within Oceaneerings Aberdeen premises or within the clients’ premises. For additional training details or training availability, please raise a Help Desk Ticket by sending an email to acethelp@oceaneering.com

Q. How do I get remote access to my database?

If remote access to a database hosted on Oceaneerings servers is require, please raise a Help Desk Ticket by sending an email to acethelp@oceaneering.com

Q. How do I bulk upload data to ACET?

By using the import module in ACET the user can import various data combinations:

New Items and New Features
Basic Inspections
Drawing IDs

Q. How can I get an ACET Helpdesk account?

Q. Which operating systems does ACET run on?

ACET is compatible with desktop PCs running Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10.

Q. Which database servers does ACET Support?

ACET supports Microsoft SQL Server from 2008 onwards.

Q. How do I add more ACET users?

To add users to your ACET license please raise a Help Desk Ticket by sending an email to acethelp@oceaneering.com

Q. What languages is ACET translated into?

ACET is available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian and Norwegian.

Q. I am unable to access my ACET database, what should I do?

ACET includes a software upgrade prompt to keep our users current (only the previous two versions of ACET are supported). If you receive a database upgrade prompt or you can no longer access your database please raise a Help Desk Ticket by sending an email to acethelp@oceaneering.com
